Can Peter Hinnerkopf has grown up in the city of Bodrum till he was 14. Therefore he is familiar with the culture of this city and country. He is also using the advantage of being able to be sailing since he was 3 years old. The sea is his second home. Can Peter moved to Germany with 14 and is studying Business in the Netherlands nowadays. He is fluent in all three languages: Turkish, German and English. Can Peter is ready to give advise to any english speaking gulet customers.


Gulet advisor Sükrü Gözütok has been living in Bodrum since he was born and therefore he is related to the most Gulet owners. He knows them since they were kids. He went to high school in Kassel - Sükrü speaks perfectly German and English (and naturally Turkish). As the first tourist guide with a diploma of the region, he organized and accompanied for Roteltours gulet journeys.
Since 1996, he is independent and is in charge of, with his company BODEX Ltd, gulet journeys, land expeditions, hotel vacations, transfers and a mall auto-rental business. In the pre and off-season he leads travel groups to the most beautiful sights and antique cities in the country. In case of particularly interested blue travel groups, he participates in the journeys and takes the guests to places, which would never been discovered without him. Sükrü knows each tree and each restaurant in the bays and knows from where one can visit the best waterfalls, hidden sources of fresh water and antique diggings. His wife Gül is a likewise travel chief with a diploma and is in charge of land excursions, e.g. to Ephesus, Pamukkale or Göreme.


YACHT Correspondent Udo Hinnerkopf has been sailing in the Turkish district since 1978 and has written many reports about it. Since 1986 he lives in Bodrum. In the passage of the years he completed over 200 trips with different crews: at the Turkish coast, the Greek islands - and in many other districts of the world.

Udo Hinnerkopf: With my steel-ketch PANDAREA, a Damien II, the Sun Odyssey 45,1 INSIDER and starting from 2005 with the Sun Odyssey 49 ONEWAY I sailed over 25 years in the Mediterranean, particularly in the Aegean Sea and at the Turkish coast. Since 1986 I live in Bodrum with my wife Ayse and our son Can-Peter. With many years on board and together with over 200 different crews I developed a sailing philosophy, which makes it possible for me to deal calmly with all situations on board. Apart from the boat and its technology the weather is always and everywhere an important factor.

Sailing is one of the last large adventures on our earth. The ones who have the courage and the ability, to accept the world as it is, and also where it is different - those ones always and at any time are welcome. I help making the question marks disappear. Nothing should oppose the euphoric feeling on a half-wind course with 20 knots in one of the most beautiful districts of the world.
